Description

GrungeMag from ElegantThemes is a magazine-style WordPress theme that combines precision with a cool grunge style design.

The theme provides an organized content structure together with a visual appealing identity.

Nick Roach, the web designer & developer behind Elegant Themes, shows off his design & coding skills not only through the theme’s frontend, but especially through the custom admin panel, which I can say it’s like no other out there.

Of course, a premium WordPress theme is judged by more than its looks – so let’s take a peek under the hood.

GrungeMag features

  • Social bookmarking ready
  • Featured Articles
  • Gravatar ready
  • Thumbnail Resizing
  • Two-tier Dropdown Menus
  • Advertisement Ready
  • Widget ready sidebars
  • Theme Option Pages
  • Custom thumbnail images
  • PSD files included
  • Valid XHTML + CSS
  • Smooth tabless design

So if you’re looking for a grungy magazine wordpress theme, GrungeMag might be for you.

I’m personally subscribed to Elegant Themes because Nick offers such great quality at an incredible low price: just 19.95$ / year.
Basically, for 20 bucks, you get all the themes Nick has designed up until now, great support plus all themes that he will release for one year.

If there would be something in need of improvement, I’d definitely ask Nick to try and make the designs easier to customize. That’s because his design skills are so advanced, it sometimes gets pretty hard to modify graphics or layout. Depends what you really need if you ask me.

In GrungeMag produced Nick over at Elegant Themes, how do you edit the 5 tier horizontal picture tabs just below the red title bar?

@Dwayne – I think that’s done through custom fields. You should post your question on the Elegant Themes forums though, I know Nick is very responsive :)
