PSD to WordPress Theme Photoshop Plugin
Download it now | Top 10 Reasons to use it
Divine is a free Photoshop plugin that converts your PSDs into ready-made, tableless WordPress themes.
Huh? Another “site generator”?
Although I wouldn’t encourage someone to use “generators” for their webdesigns, this plugin has caught my attention because it creates pretty good translations of Photoshop designs into WordPress themes – thus useful for anyone who wants to code their own themes, but lacks the funds for a premium design.
I repeat: if you want to learn how to code and manually create WordPress themes / CSS websites, you shouldn’t use generators. There are tons of websites that teach you everything from the basics to the ultimate advanced ninja techniques, in case you want to perhaps make a living out of this. However, for those that just don’t have the money for a custom theme or a premium theme, you can go ahead and give it a try. Then go learn some HTML/CSS/PHP
Here are some key features of Divine

This is a really nice piece of software and I applaud the idea behind it.
I have tried it and it delivers what it says it will once you get the hang of it. good for novice theme builders.
Now for designs that are complex or themes that require a lot of functionality its always best to either hand code it or use a service.

In effect does this software allow you to go straight from Photoshop to your wordpress post OR page without learning slicing, html, css and perhaps without having to redesign the page to fit the web?
Thank You in advance for your help.

@Jerry – at a novice level, yes.
It’s a great tool for a quick start but, as I said in the beginning of this post, if you want to learn how to code, then I’d suggest starting with HTMl/CSS and then moving on to PHP (for WordPress themes)
