Description
Portfolious is a professional WordPress CMS theme that can be used either for a portfolio (obvious) or a company website. In fact, it can be used for many purposes, because of its complex options in the admin panel.
The author created it with the non-tech-savvy in mind, which means you don’t have to touch a single line of HTML or PHP code to get it up and running.
Plus, the theme even comes with a screencast on how to install and use it.
Check out this cool blue skin:

Other features include:
- Wordpres 2.8 ready
- Beautifully styled threaded comments
- 7 PSD Files for almost all blog page layouts(homepage, blog, portfolio, page template etc.)
- Sliding Portfolio / Featured Item Quick Navigation
- 6 Pages of complete help guide PDF
- Ultra smart Image Resizing: One single post image, 4 different auto generated size variations, without head or half of the image chopped off, regardless of dimensions. Your images will look more beautiful than ever!
- Fully functioning contact form, which can be set from theme options – no plugin needed.
- Super light, smart javascript structure: Jquery library, jcarousel and easing plugin embedded, and the rest (including the optional drop down menu) is all built on a total 25 lines of code, no extra plugins.
- Google Analytics script option for those who would like to keep track of site stats
As you can see, the theme comes with a truckload of features. It even has a built-in contact form and the recently updated version includes multilevel drop-down menus.
At a price of just $35 this theme is a very good choice for a portfolio site, especially for the ones with limited coding capabilities. I’m not sure about a small business site though – I wonder how many businesses would feel comfortable with that iMac on the right… (of course, you could change that too)
